The Intern under SHDEPHA+ will work in collaboration with the Regional Plan Officer of the COB,Global Fund,and the technical team at the regional and community levels in Singida to implement the GF HIV/TB programme aimed at the number of people at critical and vulnerable risks. The employee will support the implementation of HIV/TB prevention, condom software,testing services,and Community Empowerment activities in compliance with the general regional work plan.
Duties and responsibilities
- The employee will play an important role to ensure the community activities are carried out according to National Standards.
- Playing an important role in building and managing the capacity of Peer educators and encouraging effectively the implementation of activities.
- Supporting all community activities through holding review meetings developed in each month with all their colleagues.
- Coordinating case management team with health and Community Centers for continuing care.
- The employee will be responsible in Gender Monitoring.
- Surpoting and managing the formation of PrEP groups in the project.
- Managing and monitoring community activities that include SBCC.
- Supporting the establishment of case management team in conjunction with the health center.
- Collaborating with local councils to manage social engagement portfolio,
- Supporting income generating activities for FSW

QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in nursing or medicine, Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing or medicine will be an added advantage.
- Three to five years of relevant experience working with KVP in HIV / TB at community level
- Public health degree, Social Work,Social Development or any other related degree required,
- Master’s degree in public health (MPH or equivalent) will be more advantanged
- Experience in addressing gender principles and serving KVP programs.
- Experience in working with councils,CBOs, NGOs, and health centers to implement public health projects.
- Able to manage tight deadlines and provide a high amount of tasks with minimal management.
- Able to write and speak English language
