Job Description

The Secretariat of employment  in the civil service  PSRS is the state body with the status of an independent  dependent  established  to facilitate  the process of recruitment  of servants in the country into civil  service. 

The Secretariat for employment in the civil service was established by the Civil Service Act and.8 0f of 2002 as amended by the Civil Service Act. 18 of the year 2007 article 29 (1). Our vision is to become a center of Excellence in employment in the civil service in the region. Our mission is to make the recruitment of civil servants using modern methods based on the foundations of equality, transparency and eligibility as well as providing advice to employers on employment-related issues.

Recommended 

Human resources are  important factor in the provision of services to the public, thus, the PSRS is tasked with recruiting civil servants in a fair, transparent and timely manner; while keeping in mind and ensuring the quality and accessibility of all applicants to provide equitable public services in Tanzania. Our goal is to improve public service in the government in matters pertaining to the employment process in accordance with our laws and regulations and at the same time strengthen good relations with our stakeholders.
