POSITION: Country Director

The Director of state is a thought leader within the AKF, AKDN and outside and requred to promote various networks and actors including communities Gorvenment Agencies
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading, developing, designing, expressing, and implementing AKF Tanzania’s strategic orientation and objectives, in the context of AKDN’S priority.
Cooordinating with AKDN agencies in development and implementation of initiatives.
Leading in software portfolio development and oversee the implementation of quality software for results on time.
Promoting of culture of learning and reflection and advocate iterations in design to drive quality impacts,
Developing and Promoting of good organizational culture for the attraction of talent, development, and conservation.
Leading AKFT staff and collaborate in collaboration with implementation stakeholders.
Ensuring financial sustainability and compliance by working closely with country and regional financial functions,
Leading software portfolio development and oversee the implementation of quality software for results, on time, and budgeting through strong leadership.
Promising to give better results and cost effective use of resources, sets the correct delivery and use of design work methods.
Developing and Promoting of good organizational culture for the attraction of talent, development, and conservation and inspire individuality.
Leading AKFT staff and collaborate in collaboration with implementation stakeholders.
Making sure financial sustainability and compliance by working closely with country and regional financial.
Minimum of Ten years of experience in international development and or humanitarian aid, of which at least 3 years in a senior leadership position.
Ability to build, maintain and strengthen relationships with stakeholders.
Demonstrated the ability to lead, inspire different teams for better performance, and build an organizational culture that is inclusive, dynamic, and innovative.
People with strong skills, initiative, network capabilities with governments and various development partners to form positive relationships and influence policies.
A native Networker that creates and engages in a community of practice.
Ability to represent institutional views and experiences in various contexts.
Strong networking skills to better understand the political, economic, and social context and build collaborative relationships.
An amazing perspective that is quick to seek alternative solutions to needs or problems;
Advanced analytical skills and the ability to assimilate and process information on various issues, better writing, communication, and financial analysis skills.
Critical thinker with the ability to work internally with point systems.

Experience with gions especially Tanzania is a distinct advantage,
