Uongozi Institute was brought up since 2010 by Tanzania Government of Tanzania aiming at Mobelizing or preparation Tanzania and African Leaders to provide integrated and Sustainable solutions
This is done through the provision of quality operational education, facilitation of policy discussions, practical research and technical Support of private institutions
The organisation use holistic and mutually reinforcing approach to capacity development that recognizes that leadership capacity is developed through the long term learning process
The institutional monitoring and Evaluation Unit (M & E) supports the implementation and implementation of the Institutional Strategic Plan by coordinating planning processes, monitoring and analyzing performance, and encouraging performance culture. As one of the institutional’s core departments, the research and Policy Department plays an important role in strengthening the institutional philosophy of achieving sustainable development through competent leadership.
The organization promotes the exchange of ideas and stimulates discussions on issues of socio-economic growth and sustainable development in Africa through highlevel policy discussions, action research, leadership records, television interviews, Resource Center (Library) and technical support.
