TANROADS Tanga regional manager on behalf  of chief  executive, looking  for qualified candidates  on positions mentioned. They are looking for Two weight bridge operators, welcoming various candidates  interested  to apply for positions available. POSITION: Weighbridge Operators (2posts)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Carrying out operations as defined in the EAC Motor Vehicle Load Control Act of 2016 and Rules of the year 2017;
2.  Implement Axle Load Control for the use of weighbridge level equipment;
3.  Implement instant road damage fees for overcrowded vehicles;
4. Measuring the body dimensions of the vehicle or any load carried
   car for providing advice to the transporter for the provision of relevant advice;
5. Recording all necessary information about the vehicle being tested; and
   To perform other tasks that the administrator may be assigned from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS 

1. Diploma in civil, Mechanical,  automotive  or electrical engineering from recorganized institution
2. Computer literacy 
3. Fluent  in English  and Swahili  languages  both written and spoken 

GENERAL CONDITIONS 

1. Applicants who are employed on permanent and pension terms are not supposed to apply
2. Anyone with unresolved crimes should not apply
3.   Must present three referees and their contacts
4. All copies of academic certificates and birth certificates must be certified by
   oath commissioner 
5. The submission of copies of parts or fragments of the results will not be accepted
6. Applicants must not be over 45 years old a
