POSITION: Accountant Assistant 

ACDI/VOCA is currently  hiring welcoming various candidates interested to apply for the position available of Accountant Assistant . The interested  candidates to work on this position should follow instructions to apply for the position

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Reciev8 and process all files of  all field travel advances , payments to vendors  and employees  expenses 
2. Making sure all supporting  documents  are attached  and follow  the policies  and procedures 
3. Making all full disbursement  voucher packs are scanned, physically  filled and uploaded  by share points 
4. Ensuring all disbursement  vouchers are properly  discharged 
5. Ensuring that vendors  are paid in timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS 

1. Degree or advanced Diploma in Accounting,  or finance from recorganized  instructions 
2. Thre years of working experience  working  on USAID funded projects  in Accounting or Finance control
3. Demonstrated  knowledge  of Accounting practices (GAAP) and basic financial  management 
4. Knowledge  of applicable related rules and regulations  as set by ACDI/VOCA  and USAID
5. Working knowledge  of an accounting  package such as quickbooks  will be added advantage 
6. Good analytical  skills  including  ability  to collect and analyse  data  and come with suggestions  on what to do
7. Proven ability  to effectively  use of database  spreadsheet,  word processing  and position specific software 
8. Ability to exercise  appropriate  judgement  and tact while protecting  confidential information 
9. Excellent interpersonal  skills  are necessary  to work effectively 
10. Demonstrated ability  to work  effectively  , both independently  and in team environments in atmospheric of multiple  projects,
