ADP-Mbozi is a nationally registered ngo on October 10, 2005 under Section 11 (3) Act No. 24 of 2002. It was originally registered under the sponsors Cap connection Act. 375 sat 29 November 1995 with registration number 1639.
Since then the organization has grown to of action and coverage and now ADP Mbozi aims to be a leader in enabling social and economic empowerment of isolated rural and urban communities in mainland Tanzania through communities empowerment on HIV prevention, mitigating effects, gender, child issues, Good Governance and the environment; promote food security in climate change environments and improve education, business and market development.

The headquarters of the organization is located in songwe region, about 70 km from Mbeya city and along the Dar es Salaam –Lusaka Highway.
The project focus on adolescents and children reduce the incidence of HIV, empowerment, and elimination of the virus (Reach) which is a five-year global effort to achieve and advance control of the HIV epidemic among pregnant women and breastfeeding women, adolescents, babies and babies. This project is funded by the United States.
