Duties and responsibilities

POST: CHAUFFEUR/Driver

CHAUFFEUR/DRIVING (70%)

• Operates motor vehicle carrying personal in city and in the country trips,
• assisting passengers with luggage or other Materials they may be carrying
• Acting as messenger in delivering documents
• Provision of courteous services
• Maintains clean and professional appearance

20% Motor Vehicles Operations and Maintenance

• Responsible for safety operation and maintenance of given vehicles
• Responsible for the proper loading of vehicle and security of cargo in transit
• Cleans and inspect the vehicle before during and after each trip.
• Ensuring that the vehicle has adqueate supply of fuel

QUALIFICATION/SKILLS

• Must have a minimum of three years of passengers driving experience (core duty of the position) from private corporation
• Good working knowledge in reading, writing and speaking in kiswahili and English.
• Valid driving license class B,C,D and E
• Computer literacy
• All applicants will be required to pass medical and security certification

Requirements

• Primary school certificate
• Driving license B, C, D, E  with no records of accidents
• Tanzania citizen
