Job Description

The key purpose  to this position is to upload and unloading  plus keeping materials  safe and scale while maintaining  our governance  and customer  service standards 

POSITION: Cheaker Operator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Ensuring the vehicle is maintained in good operating order by observing the maintenance schedule and filling out the inspection form before each trip.
2. Ensure that the forklift is operated and maintained in optimal condition.
3. Ensure that oil and water are in acceptable operating standards.
   Comply with Health, Safety and environmental standards
4. Ensure that the company and legal stacking regulations are observed.
   Comply with and maintenance site housekeeping standards.
5. Wear the correct ppe at all times as specified by the site and location
   Loading And Unloading Operations
6. Load summary is used to load the correct split volume with full pallets
7. To ensure the loading / unloading of goods is carried out as per procedures, all goods are counted, both in the load area and unloading areas, and delivery documents are duly signed and issued
   Stock Quality Management
8. Ensure adherence to old warehouse stock standards through using stock circulation regulations.
9. Ensure quality control through checking the packaging on the warehouse floor before loading
   Inventory Management
10. Participate in the handover process before and after each change

QUALIFICATIONS 

1. Math literacy skills 
2. Fluent in English language 
3. Good communication skills 
4. Able to work under pressure 
5. Able to adapt  to effectively  changes 
6. Computer literacy 
7. Basic knowledge  of automotive engineering 
8. Valid forklift licence  class E and D 
9. Three years of working experience 
10. Three years experience  in driving heavy goods
