The civil law consultant (knowledge management) will collaborate with pathfinder project staff, country leadership and colleagues from Pathfinder business units to improve Pathfinder programs through targeted, systematic and resource based application of civil law.
POST:Collab learning and Adaptive advisor
With special attention to knowledge management, the Civil Law agency consultant will develop and improve tools, knowledge management systems and products that will allow better knowledge and information exchange between projects and countries.

Duties and responsibilities
- Civil Law Project and country support
- works with Project and country teams to identify civil law needs
- develops civil law plans in proposals and action plans, develops and provides tools, processes, activities and activities

- maintains and expands the repository of Civil Law Resources
- provides technical assistance and training and enhances the capacity of MEL staff and project teams to conduct civil law events.
- Develop and implement knowledge exchange activities
- conducts regular, high-quality and participatory knowledge exchange/learning activities and supports the development of thriving in-house communities of practitioners.
- Plans exciting training activities on priority technical topics or training issues
- documents and distributes lessons and generates knowledge products obtained as a result of training activities
- Planning and facilitating Sessions
- Supports and updates Pathfinder Atlas
- supports the management and optimization of Pathfinder platform for knowledge management and sharing, Pathfinder Atlas.
- Coordinate work with other business units to ensure the inclusion of high-quality information products in the ATLAS system

QUALIFICATION/SKILLS
- Knowledge and ability to develop civil law agency plans, tools and processes at Project, country and organization level
- Advanced facilitation skills, including proven ability to facilitate group decision making problem solving and integrated learning
- Advanced skills in organizational learning, development, implementation, evaluation and improvement of knowledge management systems, basic fundamentals of library science is a plus
- Ability to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility in managing change for a wide range of stakeholders in an inclusive manner.
- Proven ability to conduct results presentations for small and large groups
COMPETENCE REQUIRED
- knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, teams and SharePoint.
- proven written and oral English skills are required; French is highly recommended.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably a master’s degree in Organizational Development, International Education, Knowledge Management, Library Science, Information Systems, social sciences, public health or related fields
- 7 years of progressively responsible experience in knowledge management and training projects or equivalent.
