Community Mobilization Officer Job at Save the Children

Save the children seeks for community mobilization Officer for project funded by USAID generation in southern zone in Tanzania. The community Mobilization Officer will be responsible for  developing guidance and training materials , monitoring the development of implementation and participation in development and working closely with team members.

Duties and responsibilities

• Obligation to mobilize communication in the USAID

• Facilitate the participation of children, youth and women in community
• Strengthen good working relationships with all stakeholders
• Make sure that consent forms are signed on both sides
• Coordinate software activities with networking and communities
• Regular interactions with community structure and school to strengthen collaboration.

Operating

• Making timely and accurate statements written and verbal
• Perticipate in strategic planning and well written reports
• Making regular visits to track projects
• Collaboration with diet staff ensuring community data is accurate

QUALIFICATION/SKILLS

• Exellent in written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in working efficiently
• Useful knowledge OVC and dreams app and have experience in implementing current package
• Have identification problem and problem solving skills
• Degree in development, social sciences or related
• Three to to four years experience in NGO or related
