Dangote Cement  plc is currently  hiring welcoming various candidates interested to apply for the position  available  of Senior instrumentation Engineer. The interested  candidates to work with  Dangote Cement plc  on position  of  Senior instrumentation Engineer, should follow instructions to apply for the position.

POSITION: Senior instrumentation Engineer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Perform all maintenance in order to work, troubleshooting, and calibration of plant materials as directed.
2. Troubleshoot, inspect, test, maintain, repair, clean, and calibrate instrumentation and solid state.
3. Repair or replace control devices such as switches, optical images, proximity sensors, pushbuttons.
4. Install control and measurement instruments on existing or new plant equipment.
5. Various applications of test equipment, including recorders, computers, control and tuning modules.
6. Conduct regular rounds inspection of the instrumentation plant, and control equipment
7. Assist in developing comprehensive prevention and maintenance procedures for plant containers and control equipment.
8. Troubleshooting, repair and small programming of various PLC control systems, often drives and other electronic devices
9. Participate in Plant, Health and environmental safety initiatives and comply with safety in accordance with state and company standards
10. Perform any other work as may be assigned by part of the Head/ Head of the Department on a regular basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Degree of Engineering in Electronic/Instrumentation Engineering 
2. Six years of working experience  in cement industry
3. Knowledge  in use and maintenance  of instruments
4. Strong leadership and people  management  skills
5. Commitment  of implementation  of safety environment regulations
6. Good data collection ana analysis skills
7. Problem solving skills
8. Creativity and able to think outside box
