Agroforestry Extensionist will be responsible for Assisting in implementation of all aspect of Agroforestry part of the project . They will report directly to agricultural Coordinator and helping other expanders, M&E Officer and Nursery manager. They will also be responsible for helping to develop , implement and evaluate the fundamental aspects of agricultural program
POSITION: Agroforestry Extensionist
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement all agricultural and forestry intervention activities within the project villages Identify and organize peasant groups in project villages
Organize and conduct training workshops for peasant groups directly or in collaboration with other organizations
Assist in the promotion of appropriate training materials locally in English and Swahili
Assist in M & E processes and conduct surveys in collaboration with agricultural coordinator and Officer M & E
Assist in the development of the value chain for selected monetary crops
Assist in processing administrative applications / documents
Assist in the procurement of all objects for the cultivation program and nursery of trees
