POSITION: Health Specialist (Health Financing)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Data driven health funds,
2. Ensuring the use of Public Health Resources,
3. Cheaking on networking and collaborative construction
   Innovation, Knowledge,
4. Leading and capacity building
   Data driven health funds,
5. Prepration of certificate of economic and written cooperation agreement
6. Focusing on an analysis of the selected health sector budget forexample identification of PFM restrictions affecting service delivery.
7. Giving technical support in the design, implementation and monitoring of innovative health funding programs.
8. Development of the use of Public Health Resources,
9. Giving of technical support to the ministries of Health tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar in developing a health funding strategy.
10. Working together in providing technical inputs to national and sub-national PFM dialogue.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Higher University Degree(Masters or higher in Health Economics, Health finance or public finance Managment
2. Five years of experience in role of public Finance or Economic Development
3. Experience working in developing countries especially in sub Saharan Africa  is added advantange
4. Experience in the Organization of the United Nations system
5. Fluent in English language is required
