Laboratory Technician Job at ICAP

ICAP are looking for Laboratory Technician to join their working team, the interested candidates should follow instructions to apply for the position.

Duties and responsibilities

• Receiving blood samples from the field according to SOP

• Log and count all received samples

• Samples of plasma and plasma samples

• Preparation of DBS samples as professional Laboratory in ICAP

• Manage temporary storage of plasma samples

• Perform HIV verification test using geenius

• Managment and accurate filling of records

• Managment of all non verifying events

• Supporting and solution of HIV results separately through additional testing

• Cleaning and Maintenance equipment in Laboratory

• Using LDMS samples from satellite Laboratory to Central lab

• Supporting this lab activities as required

• perform any other task as may be assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATION

• Diploma in Laboratory technology

• One year of working experience in Medical Laboratory

• Experience in HIV serology will be advantageous

• Good in communication skills

• Fluent in English and Kiswahili

• Computer literacy

• Ability to maintain loyalty at all time

• Ability to work with different team
