POSITION: Librarian 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Managing libraries to ensure  cleanliness,  order and protection  of library resources 
2. Developing  and organizing the inventory of libraries eg books, collections 
3. Performing  regular checks and updates on database information 
4. Support  Research  students reading  materials  and references 
5. Conducting research  and implement new approach to the new information  system 
6. Management of library budgets  and Bill’s for new materials

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Experience  of using computer  and working with electronic databases 
• Experience  with information  management systems 
• High organisation capacity 
• Good communication skills 
• Able to perform multiple tasks
• Patient  and friendly 
• Having Bachelor’s degree in any field
• however  library science degree or information management 
• Previous experiences as Librarian 

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Degree in pharmacy (B pharm) from recorganized  university  
2. One year training  and must be registered  with pharmacy  council of Tanzania
