The consultant will work with MHPSS Technical consultants at Americare headquarters to ensure compliance with international and national guidelines standards and is expected to work closely with RMNCAH specialists as its supervisor and key BMC staff to ensure general service

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Consultation with technical consultants and the African Americares Planning Team, designing and implementing mhpss requires an assessment to evaluate current MH practices and staff capacity, consulting content, MHPSS limitations as well as service delivery sequence, etc. during the BMC.
Develop a comprehensive report on key findings and recommendations from assessments and resources that can be stored as a “road map” for implementation
On approval from Americares staff plans, discuss implementation road map and bmc management for purchase-in and feedback
Develop a detailed work plan for key stages, including a provider capacity building plan and adjustment and delivery of MHPSS training
Make the necessary MHPSS fistula indicators and work with M & E on the data collection tools/systems for those indicators
Adaptation to the leading facilitation of required MHPSS training (e.g., MH examination, referral, PFA, etc.) for action plan (in collaboration with RMNCAH specialist and bmc staff)
Conduct regular supervision of MHPSS staff and provide feedback and discussion.
Organize regular meetings with MHPSS TA and bmc MHPSS staff on technical issues, strategy, and programming.
Write monthly updates on MHPSS services, shared by the relevant departments.
