JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Airport argent will  provide high quality passenger service in terms of check in boarding, special services, waiting rooms, Airport Hotel and baggage handling in accordance with the company’s business standards and procedures and security, ensuring that passengers and their luggage are handled consistently and efficiently also ensuring that premium class passengers receive the desired  high quality services and that employees adhere to the company  safety policy and safety standards

POST: Senior Airport Services Agent – Zanzibar

Duties and responsibilities

• Acting as first contact between the airline and customers
• Ensuring quality standards are met at Airport
• Ensuring all operational areas eg flight, air craft loading, baggage handling running well
• Monitoring all checks activities at the Gate ensuring activities are done well
• Ensuring smooth customer handling

• Raise with ramp and GHA staff in supporting of airport service supervisor
• Perform all aircraft turnaround check
• Operating aircraft cabin service from outside doors
• Directing and escorting of arivaar and departure passengers
• Help passengers in regards to entry provedupro eg Visas, and residents permit.

QUALIFICATION

• Relevant vocational, Tetiary or Trade Qualification
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Courses in passengers handling and customer service such as introduction to civilian aviation and passengers handling
• Three years relevant experience
• Ability to effectively manage mishandled baggage services including service recovery situation with customers
