The sellected  candidates  will be to supervise and coordinate preventive  maintenance  and adjustment  of passengers  coaches to prolong life, available  time and reduce maintenance  costs

POSITION: Superitendant (2posts)

TAZARA is currently hiring welcoming various candidates interested to APPLY for the position available of Superintendent. The interested candidates to work with TAZARA on position mentioned should follow instructions to apply for the position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide sufficient reliable and efficient passenger coaches for a developing traffic operations.
2. Purchase in conjunction with the staff of equipment, sufficient storage of spare parts and equipment for the maintenance and maintenance of passenger coaches.
3. Develop and seek approval of low-cost maintenance and repair techniques and strategies, adjustments to passenger coaches to increase efficiency in operations, reduce break downs and maintenance control costs.
4. Review maintenance schedule in consultation with the best, basing adjustment of age of passenger coaches, quality of spare parts and equipment used, crew skill level availability.
5. Maintain high levels of functionality in the segment.
6. Set up stores requisitions for equipment and spare parts, submit the same to the chief for approval and control consumption.
7. Provide information to management about the progress of work on the engine and related problems.
8. Collect information related to changing the work done and the cost of materials, spare parts used, the use of manpower and submit the same to management for cost purposes and other uses.
9. Ensuring high discipline and Company safety rules and regulations are observed by subordinates during the execution of work.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Able to work independently  to achieve results  as well as ability to collaborate  with different teams.
2. Able to write analytical and Technical  information interpersonal power, communication  and leadership skills
3. Able to manage and prioritize task and project
4. Form four/Six certificate
5. Diploma  in Mechanical engineering, complete Technical  certificate  or equivalent
6. Six years  of relevant working experience
7. Not more than 45yeas
