Job Description

ICAP is an organisation  based in Columbia University  operating in more than 30 countries  and leader of global public  health and known  internationally  for tackling  the world most complex health problems eg HIV, Tuberculosis,  malaria, children health with increase in non infectious disease  plus Covid 19 pandemic

Through innovative  research, Technical  cooperation  support  and focus on strengthening  of health  system,  ICAP help in creating better, more accessible health  care services  to reduce the burden of disease  on people and community

ICAP was founded at Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health in 2003 by Wafaa El-Sadr. ICAP was created at a time when an estimated 2.4 million people die each year from HIV worldwide. As the global crisis unfolded, ICAP was determined to overcome the challenge of making HIV treatment available in areas with poor health care infrastructure.

The icap’S pioneering approach was inspired by the experience of Dr. El-Sadr and his colleagues in the New York City community of Harlem, where HIV was spreading rapidly causing tested suffering.

In the name of the International Center for AIDS care and treatment programs, ICAP quickly engaged in global HIV response, facilitating the effectiveness of HIV care and treatment in some of the most challenging countries in the world. Consequences of rapid galvanized international health community.
