Nutrition project Officer Job at Save the children

Save the children seeks for community mobilization Officer for project funded by USAID generation in southern zone in Tanzania. The community Mobilization Officer will be responsible for  developing guidance and training materials , monitoring the development of implementation and participation in development and working closely with team members

Duties and responsibilities

• Supporting the implementation of households to strengthen the ecconomy

• Share social group such home care communities with orphan and vunerables children
• Monthly and quately report and activities associated with Nutrition
• Establish and maintaining consistent cooperation with relevant LGAs
• Implementation and monitoring of nutrients related
• Provide support to villages leadership and committee

Operating

• Make timely and accurate statements written and verbal
• Participate in strategic planning and well written report project based
• Ensuring quality project implementation
• Make legular visits to track projects
• Collaboration with diet staff to ensure community data is accurate
• Implementation of projects

QUALIFICATION/SKILLS

• Technical strength aware of nutrition and strategies to prevent chronic nutrition
• Awareness and experience with start up
• Managment and implementation of Nutrition
• Experience shown in project and time managment
• Exellent written and orol communication skills
• Degree in human nutrition or food science or masters in public health and human nutrition
• Less than five years experience in field with Internal organization
