The task of the office administrator is to ensure the office environment is effectively operated this complements the clerical and administrative functions of the office.
Duties and responsibilities
- welcoming and guiding visitors, doing clerical tasks, like answering calls and responding to emails and coordinating meetings and appointments.
- Coordinating office activities and findinding effective and compliance policies of the company.
- Supervising administrative personnel and dividing responsibilities to ensure performance.
- Providing help whenever needed.
- Managing agendas/travel plans /etc. for Advanced Management.
- Managing phone calls and contacts.
- Supporting budgeting and inventory procedures.
- Creating and updating databases and records with staff, cash and other data.
- Monitoring storage of office equipment and placing orders when necessary.
- Sending time reports and providing suggestions sent.
