POSITION Reforestation and Firm Manager.

Aga Khan  University  (AKU) Is currently  hiring  welcoming various candidates interested  to apply for the position avilable  of Nursery  Reforestation and Firm Manager. The interested candidates  to work with Aga Khan  University  should  follow  instructions  to apply for the position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Raising land plantings in Arusha
2. Grow saplings in the nursery.
3. Give instructions to nursery staff.
4. Schedule and monitor tree planting.
5. Using of Demo plots.
6. Training employees and other stakeholders.
7. Increasing agricultural activity and Crop Production.
8. Cropping planting direction.
9. Fertilizering of various crops.
10. Irrigation systems.
11. Spraying and harvesting.
12. Smooth Operation Of Agricultural.
13. Working  with coffee team leaders  and providing  support
14. Providing  support  and direction  on harvesting  and pulling operations

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor/Masters  of science  related fields
2. Five years  of working experience  in related fields , managing  plant Nursery,  reforestation, agriculture experience  in irrigation systems,  Sprinklers,  drip and trench
3. Familiar with wide range  of natural trees and process  for planting  trees
4. Sustainable  environment  and conservation
5. Excellent self knowledge , able to buld development and maintaining  good  work relationships  with others
6. Self 8, versatile  and adaptable  to different  cultures  and people
7. Fluent in English language both written and spoken
8. Able to pay attention  to detail  and high degree of accuracy
