PHSRF is non governmental organization that was found on demand driven reasons or saving lives of Tanzanians.

Formed out of former Angaza zaidi Program at a country wide HIV and AIDS Prevention and sensitization program under USAID that was implemented since 2001.

PHSRF has accumulated iver 15 years of hands on experience in implementing HIV and AIDS prevention, sensitization and awareness raising projects across the country.

PHSRF is legally registered by the united republic of Tanzania under Non government organization ACT,2002 with registration Number ooNGO/R2/000103

Procurement officer supports the PHSRF in procurement of goods and services for PHSRF office. The procurement intern will be responsible in ensuring that procurement procedure are followed in accordance to PHSRF policies, rules and regulations.

Duties and responsibilities

• Ensuring assets and property are effectively managed
• Procure consumable and office supplies for PHSRF office
• Supplier payments, laise with finance department for timely suppliers payments
• Provide technical advise on procurement fiduciary activities
• Prepare requisition and purchase orders
• Coordinate the procurement and disposal activities of all department
• Prepare procurement proposals as required
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from supervisor

QUALIFICATION

• Good knowledge and appropriate to learning of new things
• A good understanding of procurement, accounting and financial principals
• Ability to interact personally with adverse staff and clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively Communicate with internal and external customers
• Bachelor degree in procurement with first or upper second class is added advantage
• Excellent computer literacy
• Must be able to work under pressure
