Karatu enterprises who are owner of Havestmart Supermarket are hiring for procurement officer to work in different station such as Kawe, Mbezi Louis and Kibaha in Dar es salaam Tanzania. The procurement will be evaluating  supplier, product and services, negotiations of contracts and ensuring that approved purchases are cost efficient and of high quality.

Duties and responsibilities

• Track and record order Source and interview vendors
• Prepare requestion and purchase orders
• Organizing and schedule procurement in timely  manner
• Recommend new process or system for improvement of new ideas and strategies
• Communicate  performance and cost to Management
• Manage supply base
• Receive orders and document arrivals
• Analyze market and delivery system
• Determine lowest cost for product Materials.
• Manage supply base

QUALIFICATION

• Experience as  procurement officer or similar position. Strong communication and negotiations skills.
• A degree in Accounting, business Management or similar field preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft office and purchasing
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Able to  multitask, prioritize and Manage time efficiency.
