The project Officer will be responsible for Provision of Support to the project manager and responsibilities to implement day to day activities.

Duties and responsibilities

• Identfication and register famers for sustainable projects
• Organizing projects meeting at Community level
• Organizing famers in working group and training them in group dinamic
• Working with famers to develop criteria for section of farmers and sellected leader
• Organizing and training TOT guiding farmers groups in fields
• Working with other projects leaders to conduct environmental analyisis
• Training farmers on harvest and post managment
• Organizing exchange visits to farmers
• Facilitation and connecting famers to market
• Participation in field monitoring and data collection

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor degree/ high diploma from highly qualified institution
• Two years of experience is required and five for high diploma
• Key Research areas include Agriculture in general, hotculture and Agricultural Education
• Experience in vegetable production is aded advantange
• Experience in working with farmers group
