POSITION: Mobilization Officer
Afya plus organization is primarily focused on promoting behavior change and building strength community through water promotion and hygiene care and youth empowerment
women and girls participate with key stakeholders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducti plus developing of five year financial needs assessment for HealthPlus
Focusing on resource mobilization guidance that includes routine operating procedures.
Doing research on donors eg deposits, foundations, companies and high net worth individuals,
Focusing on identifying funding opportunities as soon as or before that public education
Ensuring proposals and concepts for various sources, including development partners.
 Focusing on resource mobilization plans and reports based on the stated periods.
Ensuring working relationship with the financial team in the development of proper budget,
Ensuring development plus strengthening of cooperation by writing a joint proposal.
 Organizing resource mobilization events,
Bulding capacity of staff on Resource Mobilization at all levels
Degree in Social Sciences, Business Communications, Marketing,
Public relations, project management and planning. Business Administration, statistics, economics, marketing, or relevant field, a master’s degree will be advantageous
Two to three years of experience demonstrated in developing a strategy to increase the fund and
awareness of institutional resources, understanding of the development sector and aid management.
Two to three years of experience shown in working with an NGO
Good communication skills
Fluent in English and Kiswahili language
 Proven skills in developing and writing successful financial proposals
