Geita Gold mine (GGML) is Tanzania leading Gold Mine producer with single operation in Geita region. The company is subsidiary of Agro Gold Ashanti an international gold producer. Their headquarters are in South Africa . the mine is situated in Lake Victoria Gold fields of Lake Victoria North west Tanzania only about 85km from Mwanza city and 20 km near port lake Victoria. The company head office is at Geita and also having offices in Dar es salaam . GGMl are inviting applicants to fill this position .

POSITION: Plant operator

purpose of the role

Operating batching plant associated infrastructure  also will perform bpart of the shift crew of operators allocated to specific area  also performing assigned tasks acutely while promoting safe and productive work environment as per company standards.

Duties and responsibilities

• Attend and participating crew meeting on shift basis
• Comply with all PPE requirements
• Conduct task based risk assessment on continuous Bassi’s
• Conduct safety and workplace inspection including hazard identification
• Monitor and maintain good housekeeping in batching plant
• Ensuring GGML standard are met

QUALIFICATION

• Experience with CAF plant or process plant operation
• Sufficient education in read and write instruction and keep records
• At least secondary education education
• Higher level will be added advantage
• Ability to drive manual transmission light vehicles
