POST: Chopper Harvester Operator

 

Duties and responsibilities

• Operate case Austoft 8810 tracked chopper harvester
• Inspect the chopper harvester and sign off to register fuel levels and Mechanical readiness of the equipment for shift work before work starts. Sign off checklists at the end of the shift.
• Arrange for fueling whenever necessary and ensure sufficient fuel
• Report defects in the equipment immediately that they become apparent to management.
• Monitor Machine Maintainence cycle
• Ensure hygienic condition and high standards of house keeping

QUALIFICATION

• At least form four level of education
• Knowledge of safe operating procedure
• Good communication skills
• Computer literacy
• No previous criminal records
• Knowledge of reporting procedure of emergency and defects
• Class F and G driving license
