Maternity Africa is a Christian charitable organization, non governmental organization registered in Tanzania. It deals with ensuring child birth safe by providing access to good Maternity services

We serve the the poorest most vulnerable women by providing free, quality productive health care. All programs have been developed to bring positive impact on healthy and wellbeing of mother and child by minimizing maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality.

Duties and responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance of day to day clinical duties as allocated and required
• Ensuring clinical waste is disposed appropriately
• Adhere to the documentation and data collection systems and ensure accuracy
• Provide health education advice to antenatal and postnatal women and families.
• Ready to work in rotations in all the clinical department
• Conduct in house and external classroom training sessions and hands
• Take any other responsibilities that arise in day to day running of the centre.

QUALIFICATION

• Must be registered by Tanzania Nursing and midwifery council
• A minimum of 5 years proved professional experience in hospital/health care setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, excel and PowerPoint
• Minimum qualification of a bachelor in Nursing and Midwifery
• Visionary, creative and able to work under minimum supervision
• Experience with heath project set up and management.
