TB/Regional HIV manager is a technical expert on all matters pertaining to TB / HIV programs of the ministry. He provides technical leadership and management of TB and TB HIV related TB steps and services.

Duties and responsibilities

•  Making an important and timely contribution to the implementation of tuberculosis and TB / HIV projects.

•  Managing the implementation of key software programs to address the software

•  Checking evaluation requirements on TB programs and services and organize efforts

•  Ensuring the timing and accuracy of relevant TB data as well as help to strengthen

• Ensuring collection and delivery of information requested for quarterly
  development reports.

• Guiding efforts to identify shortcomings in TB and TBHIV services.

• Participation in district and regional meetings

•  Supporting the program with countries establishing and testing the appropriate models of TB / HIV.

•  Managing of the staff plan under all regions supported by the council.

•  Perform any other related tasks and may be assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATION

•  Medical doctor degree and current registration from the Medical Council

• Master’s degree in public health or the relevant field is added advantage
