The U.S Mission in Dar es salaam is seeking for eligible and qualified applicant for Voucher examiner in financial management section.

Duties

Payment processing and Accounting reconciliation 35%

Directly responsible for ensuring legal and correct invoice processing through the entire voucher payment and proper record retention.

Responsible for correctly processing anualy up to 15,000 vouchers for no less than 10 USG agency and their Multiple programs. Ensures invoices are varied supporting documentation

Prepare cash and Travel advances20%

Prepare of line cash travel advances and cash payment of assigned accounts

Communication and coordination 10%

Maintain open and regular communication with over 100 internal and external vendors

Alternate Cashiering 35%

Sever as the primary Alternate  cashier responsible for control and safe keeping of a cash advance .

QUALIFICATION

• Two years of experience in Voucher examination or bookkeeping is required
• Fluent in reading, speaking and writing  in kiswahili is required
• Bachelor degree in Accounting, finance economics, business or public administration
